Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq prepares "Global Goals Strategy for Sustainable Development"

New global goals strategy is based on the SDG 2030 agenda and helps to ensure coherence in efforts across the municipality's administrations.

In their “World Goals Strategy for Sustainable Development”, Sermersooq municipality has chosen that the SDG 2030 agenda will form the foundation for the next many years' strategic efforts and priorities in the municipality. With the strategy, the municipality wants to create a greater degree of wholeness and coherence across the municipality's administrative areas.

A long-term and cross-cutting work with the themes must thus contribute to both sustainable and coherent growth and welfare in Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq. The municipality has already selected a number of world goals as priorities in the strategy period and targets its efforts towards these.
