Nordic Expert Group for Sustainable Development

The Nordic expert group focuses on SDG 2030 and coordinates the work with sustainable development in the working groups under the Nordic Council of Ministers.

In Nordic co-operation under the Nordic Council of Ministers, the SDG 2030 agenda is sought to be incorporated into the work of ensuring sustainable development. In 2016, an expert group for sustainable development was set up consisting of representatives from all the Nordic countries to coordinate this work. Greenland is represented in the expert group at the Department of National Planning in the Ministry of Finance.

The work has among other things resulted in the Nordic program Generation 2030, which focuses on goal 12: Sustainable consumption and production as well as the young and the next generation.
